We'll let the connection show up on its own and we'll remember this season honestly.
Working with me should feel easy — like you don't have to wait for everything to line up perfectly before documenting this season.
You don't need to wait until the kids are a little older or things calm down. You don't need a Pinterest-perfect life to have photos worth treasuring. This season — exactly as you're living it right now — is worth remembering!
From our first conversation to the final gallery, I'm here to make this feel natural and comfortable. We'll move at your family's pace, follow your kids' lead, and capture the connection that's already there. No performing. No pressure. Just your family being your family.
The goal isn't waiting for perfect. It's remembering this season honestly, while you're still living it.
Your Real Is Enough
01/04
When you reach out, we hop on a call to make sure what you're hoping for aligns with my approach — child-led sessions where your kids can be themselves, activity-based moments that feel like real life, not posed portraits.
We'll go over the entire process — from planning the session together to delivering your gallery through photos that tell your family's story.
By the end of our call, you'll know if this feels right for your family. No pressure — just a real conversation about what matters most to you.
02/04
Before your session, we have another call — and this one's my favorite!
This is where I get to hear all about your family. I'll ask about your kids' personalities, what you love doing together, the little things you don't want to forget. We'll plan activities that feel natural to you — maybe baking cookies, playing in the backyard, or cozy story time.
I can't photograph your story if I don't know it, right?! So when I show up for your session, you'll already feel at ease. No awkward getting-to-know-you phase — just real moments that you want honestly remembered.
03/04
Session day is when the magic happens! We'll do the things you already love and those activities we planned on our call together will come to life.
I'm there to guide and create space for connection to happen naturally. We'll move at your family's pace — no rushing, no forced posing, just real moments unfolding. Your kids can be themselves, you can relax, and the day feels less like a photo shoot and more like quality time together.
The best part? It feels easier than you thought it would. Your family being your family — your real life, honestly captured.
04/04
The moment you've been waiting for — your gallery is delivered and I can't promise you won't cry a little. You'll see your family exactly as they are — the real moments, the connections, the little details you were afraid you'd forget. The way your toddler looked at you when they thought no one was watching, the snuggle that happened in between the chaos — all of it, right there.
These are the photographs that bring you back — to the energy, the laughter, the ordinary magic of just being together. Your real life, honestly remembered. And now you have it forever.
THE PROCESS
YOU'RE NOT QUITE READY TO INVEST IN PHOTOS THAT HONESTLY CAPTURE THIS SEASON
YOUR FAMILY ISN'T REALLY INTO A PLAYFUL, CHILD-LED, GO-WITH-THE-FLOW KIND OF SESSION
YOU WANT A QUICK SESSION WITHOUT THE PERSONAL TOUCH — AND THAT'S OKAY!
You prefer traditional posed portraits over candid storytelling
I may not be the photographer for you if:
We would be perfect together if:
I capture the real moments and genuine connection that happen when everyone's just being themselves, not trying to pose perfectly for the camera. We'll spend our time doing things your family already loves — baking cookies, playing in the backyard, reading favorite books together. Sound like what you're hoping for? Then we're going to be a perfect fit!
I don't photograph perfect families, I photograph real ones.
This is where real life gets documented — sessions built around what your family actually does. No posing, no pressure, just your people being exactly who they are while I capture it all.

I'm a mama living this same season of life you are and here's what I've learned — the moments that matter most are the ones that don't feel special while they're happening.
I know how fast it goes, how you blink and suddenly they're bigger, how you ache to freeze time but you're too busy living it to stop and preserve it, and how you look at other families' photos and think "I should do that," but it feels like one more thing on an already impossible list.
I see what you're too close to notice — the way your toddler reaches for your hand, how your kids still lean into you, and when you see chaos I see beauty. You're living it, so you can't see it the way someone else can.
That's where I come in, not as an outsider with a camera, but as a mama who gets it and who lives it too. I document your real, wonderful, fleeting season before it changes. Childhood doesn't slow down and one day, you'll ache for these ordinary moments. Let me help you remember it, honestly.
Hi, I'm Courtney!
Because you deserve to be in the frame, mama. Not perfectly posed, just present. Playing together, snuggling, being loved on by the little people who need you most. These are the images your kids will treasure — proof that you were there, loving them through it all.
The anticipation before everything changes, that sacred in-between season of waiting. We'll capture the beauty of this moment — the quiet before the beautiful chaos begins, the last days of just the two of you (or three, or four!).
Those first precious weeks when everything is brand new and overwhelming and beautiful all at once. We'll move slowly, follow baby's lead, and document the tiny details because this season won't last.
The everyday magic you're living right now — before this season changes. We'll do things your family already loves doing together, and I'll capture the connection, the personalities, the fleeting moments you'll ache for later.
THE QUESTIONS FAMILIES ARE ASKING
We're documenting your actual life — I'm letting your kids lead and you'll do activities you love doing together! I guide you gently and create space for connection to happen. I'm capturing the chaos, the connection, the personalities — the real, unscripted moments that make your family story worth holding onto.
One good window and a home full of people who love each other — that's honestly all I need. No magazine-worthy kitchen required, no perfectly decorated spaces. Just natural light, your people, and the real life that happens between these walls. That's where the magic is.
During our planning call, you'll hear me say that my number one tip is actually for the parents — show up ready to have fun and let go of the outcome. When kids see their parents relaxed and present, they usually follow right along. And honestly? I love the chaos. It's kind of my favorite part.
Good news — I offer wardrobe guidance to every family I work with! We'll talk through what makes each of you feel like yourselves, and how to pull it all together without looking like you tried too hard. You will be provided with styling boards to help bring it together in a cohesive, stylish way!
Here's what nobody tells you about this season — you're going to forget it. Not because you're not paying attention, but because you're too busy living it. The specific way your kid laughs right now, the exact weight of them in your arms, the beautiful chaos of a regular afternoon at your house — it slips away quietly, without warning, and one day you'll reach for the memory and find it's already blurry at the edges. That's why this matters. Not the perfectly posed photo, the real one. The one that actually looks like your family, your kids, your life, right now. Come as you are. This season is already enough.
