Outdoor Nashville Family Photos

It was a beautiful day in May during this outdoor Nashville family photos session where the sun was shining, the grass and trees all around were a bright shade of green, the sky was blue with no clouds to be seen, and the only job mom and dad had was to love on their sweet baby girl who was 1 year old. During our time together, I make sure it will be spent doing some of your family’s favorite things – snuggling your loved ones, playing games with your children, and being who you are together naturally.

This age is exactly as you would expect — they are curious, adventurous, and sometimes have their own agenda, but that is exactly what I love. My hope is for you to get your photos back and truly be brought back to the season you were in during the photos taken. Does your little laugh every time you kiss their nose? Do you find that she fit perfectly in mom’s arms when being held? Or is he always wanting to play dinosaurs with dad at every chance he gets? These are the things I want to capture for you.

You can expect your outdoor Nashville family photos session with me to be light hearted and easy going from start to finish. I don’t spend too much time posing you, but rather direct you into real life, natural moments. If your kids are shy and want to be by your side at all times, I let that happen. Or if they bring the chaos, I embrace that. Maybe your kids are somewhere in between, we are going to have a fun time together. There is something so fun about the outdoors as our littles are naturally curious. Being outside gives them the space to be who they are and allows us as parents to enter into their world.
