As a Franklin Maternity Photographer, this was one of those sessions I want to capture over and over — it was one that unfolded with a perfect blend of energetic playfulness and genuine affection. From the first photo taken to the last, it was evident that this family’s joy was infectious. We captured the magic of a family eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second baby boy.

Every moment radiated with the contagious energy of the cutest soon to be big brother. Naturally, he added a playful dynamic to the session. Little feet scampered through the park and his laughter echoed through the air. The parents, undeterred by the excitement that was unfolding, joined in the toddler’s world, creating heartwarming memories of what family meant to them.
Amidst the playful chaos, tender moments of connection emerged. Mom, with her baby bump proudly on display, shared intimate moments with her first born while dad ever so willingly chased him around (and around and around). Cuddles and smiles were captured in almost every image as this family of almost four eagerly anticipated the arrival of their baby brother.

As the sun started to set, casting a warm glow on this loving family, it was evident that their outdoor maternity session was more than just a photo shoot — it was a celebration of connection, anticipation, and the radiant love that binds families together. As a Franklin Maternity Photographer, I want to tell your family’s story — this story captured not only the beauty of pregnancy but also the joy, energy, and excitement that this family exuded as they prepared to welcome their second boy with open hearts.

Here's what nobody tells you about this season — you're going to forget it. Not because you're not paying attention, but because you're too busy living it. The specific way your kid laughs right now, the exact weight of them in your arms, the beautiful chaos of a regular afternoon at your house — it slips away quietly, without warning, and one day you'll reach for the memory and find it's already blurry at the edges. That's why this matters. Not the perfectly posed photo, the real one. The one that actually looks like your family, your kids, your life, right now. Come as you are. This season is already enough.
