Nashville Newborn Photos with Siblings

This is one of those sessions that will forever be close to my heart. The Paul family makes this Nashville newborn photos with siblings a session of my dreams — the perfect mix of a sweet baby and the truest connection of family. Relocating to Nashville was scary, but thank goodness for photography. My online friendship with Grace quickly became one of the most special real life friendships of my life. She’s an incredible mama, her heart for the Lord keeps me so inspired, and she’s the most talented photographer and one of the best educators in the photography community — she is the one who taught me how to shoot film. So it was kind of a big deal when she allowed my into her home to capture her family’s newborn photos of her 5th baby boy!! This coming August I get to do another newborn session for her 6th baby…. a sweet baby girl and I cannot wait!

There’s nothing quite like your first newborn session. Being in the same room with first time parents and feeling their excitement, uncertainty, and being a witness to them experiencing a love they never knew was possible is really special, and it brings me back to the days of having my own first baby. But then families add more babies — and sometimes even more babies — and that calm newborn session with one baby is never the same. But as a Nashville Newborn Photographer I absolutely love sessions that bring a little bit of chaos!

In the midst of life’s chaos, there is a beautiful kind of magic — the magic of family. And when a family adds another little to love, it only grows sweeter. My time with the Paul family, where love for the Lord, love for each other, and love for their five energetic boys was met with laughter, cuddles, and joy — it was sure to be a session to remember. The home was filled with excitement and anticipation as I was greeted with giggles and the sounds of little feet pitter-pattering around.

Despite the inevitable busyness that come with photographing five energetic boys, the love shared between them was undeniable. There were tender moments, hugs shared, secrets whispered, and laughter that filled the room with warmth. And amidst the chaos of capturing five active boys, there was a sense of peace and contentment — a reminder that family is the greatest gift of all.

But the most heartwarming moments came when we turned our attention to the newest member of the family — the sweet baby boy who had stolen their hearts from the moment he arrived. Tucked sweetly in his parents’ arms, surrounded by the adoration of his four older brothers, the precious gift from above was to be captured as memories forever.
