As a Nashville photographer, I absolutely love the opportunity to travel for sessions. Whether it’s for a retreat or being hired to capture special moments, creating imagery in a location that is outside of my norm truly fills my creative cup. This session was no exception.

There’s something truly magical about family photo sessions, especially when they unfold in the outdoors amidst nature’s beauty. This Franklin family session was no exception. Our time together was on a sunny evening in May and it was nothing short of amazing.

Among all the mundane tasks of motherhood, finding time to step in front of the camera is not something we get to do often. This makes dedicated motherhood sessions particularly special — to have your everyday life unfold beautifully in front of a camera.

Our time together was spent in a beautiful outdoor garden area filled with blooming hydrangeas. The morning sunlight cast a gentle glow that created beautiful pockets of shade for us to hang out in as I snapped photos of this family just being themselves and enjoying a summer morning together.
